About the Author

Cherie Pedé Shifflett is an author, editor, poet, and content marketing specialist. She began her writing and publishing journey with stories that appeared in the Chocolate for a Woman’s Soul series by Kay Allenbaugh, as well as numerous published articles from her time as a features reporter for Florida newspapers.

She currently resides with her husband, Karl, in Loveland, Colorado, where she served as the director of the content marketing department at an established digital marketing agency in Fort Collins, Colorado, for more than six years. Cherie also served as an assistant editor for Group Publishing, a Christian publishing company in Loveland, renowned for its VBS productions. Before that, Cherie served as a special needs paraprofessional for the Thompson School District, where she worked with elementary school children with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and other conditions.

Cherie is the mother of two grown sons and a grandmother. She believes in the power of positive energy, being kind, accepting, and helpful to others, and the importance of hope, joy, and love. Whether you enjoy reading or listening to inspirational true stories, poetry, or children’s stories, you’ll find something interesting in Cherie’s collection of published works.

Stay tuned for Cherie’s next book: Only Me, another true story about Cherie and her best friend, Bryce, and their amazing adventures, comical escapades, and poignant, heart-warming experiences together.
